Standard IIIModel Digital-Age Work and Learning

Reflection
This standard was exhibited on several different occasions during the course of creating projects in ITD645. I built a course website for students and parents. I was able to use an online tool called Edpuzzle to insert quiz question into a curated video. This allows a teacher to receive formative assessment feedback on video watching assignment. I really like this idea, as otherwise it would be difficult to measure how much information a student would be able to retain from a video. I was also able to use an online tool called Rubria to create a rubric that students could use as a guide for their final presentation. This allowed students and parents alike to access the rubric online to determine if their presentation met all of the requirements. The course website was the container that allowed me to communicate this information effectively and efficiently with parents and students.

Future Learning Goals
I hope to be able to use the knowledge that I gained from the IT degree to assist Developmental Executives and Account Executives at Apple Inc as they have discussions with Superintendents and Curriculum coordinators looking at integrating technology into their school districts. I plan to explore this NET-S standard more at ISTE with various sessions in 2020.
