Standard IVPromote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility

Reflection
There were multiple opportunities during this class to display this standard within ITD645. Podcasts are a great way to deliver information to those with visual impairments. I was able to create an podcast on the life of Pythagoras and his cult that students are able to listen to. My colleagues and I were able to collaborate on learning materials using Google Docs and Slides to prepare information for our classes. We used the comment feature inside of the Google tools to let the owner of the document know about any changes that we had made so that they could approve them or possibly roll them back if they did not fit the vision of the creator. The Padlet that I created was accompanied with a classroom discussion on how to use the tool with students and proper etiquette when doing so.

Future Learning Goals
I hope to be able to use the knowledge that I gained from the IT degree to assist Developmental Executives and Account Executives at Apple Inc as they have discussions with Superintendents and Curriculum coordinators looking at integrating technology into their school districts. I plan to explore this NET-S standard more at ISTE with various sessions in 2020.
